December 2006 - In addition to standard Neon and Incandescent based panel mount indicators, CML Innovative Technologies (CML-IT) offers a new range of indicators featuring LED light sources. These recently introduced devices benefit from much longer service life compared with original Incandescent based indicators and therefore help reduce maintenance costs on large control panel applications. All indicator ranges are available off the shelf in a number of different lens (conical, flat and round) and termination styles, with voltages ranging from 2 up to 250V and a wide variety of colours.
Like the new range of LED indicators, CML IT’s line of based LEDs is an effective alternative for based incandescent lamps. Based LEDs feature a number of advantages when compared to miniature lamps. Benefiting from a long life expectancy of up to 100,000 hours with low power consumption, based LEDs are shock and vibration proof and come in a wide variety of styles, colours (blue, green, red, white, yellow) and voltages (from 12 up to 230V).
