CML Innovative Technologies announces its new line of light engines and side illuminating fiber. The light engines are available in red, amber, green, blue, white and RGB (red, green, blue) and are designed to fit onto fiber with diameters ranging from 5mm up to 14mm. The light engines are available in varying intensity levels ranging from as low as 20mcd up to over 80 lumens.
The fiber comes in two different styles, rigid and flexible and is specially designed to make the light emanate from the side of the fiber rather then just carry through to the fiber end. Both rigid and flexible fiber can be cut to almost any desired length and rigid fiber can be heat formed into many distinct shapes providing for an almost unlimited variety of applications. These light engine and fiber mimic the look of neon and give you an impressive line of even illumination across the whole surface. The light engines are powered by state of the art High Brightness 3mm, 5mm and power package LEDs. These High Brightness and Power LEDs are also available as discrete components.
