New Ultra Thin Surface Mount MEMS Microphone From TRANSDUCERS USA
Transducers USA, Elk Grove Village, IL has announced the availability of their new ultra-thin MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems) Surface Mount Microphone.
Utilizing an acoustic transducer of MEMS technology and CMOS amplification, the Transducers USA’s Series TRMO-4713 Microphones are ideally suited for any miniaturized portable electronic equipment application where high temperature construction and tiny size make them a unit of choice for mobile phones, lapel mikes and a myriad of consumer appliance usages.
The TRMO-4713 Microphone utilizing MEMS construction enables small mechanical components to be built on the surface of a silicone wafer resulting in a finished size of 4.72 mm L x 3.30mm W x 1.25 mm H which is approximately 10 times smaller that a similar unit utilizing ECM construction. The Series is Omni directional utilizing an operating voltage range of from 1.5 to 3.6vdc and are PB free with its high heat resistance allowing for re-flow soldering processing in high speed manufacturing operations.
