Sockets and Accessories for an Electromechanical Relay are components designed to support the installation, operation, and maintenance of relays. Sockets provide a secure and removable connection between the relay and the circuit, allowing easy replacement and wiring. Accessories include mounting brackets, clips, covers, indicators, and suppressors that enhance relay functionality, improve durability, and protect against electrical noise or mechanical wear.
These industrial style sockets offer front-connected wiring on one level with screw terminals accessible and numbered for ease in installation, wiring and checkout. Sockets are polarized. The mating relay has a locking clip that snaps into the socket, eliminating any need for external holding devices.
SK-TRF style products are 15 amp, 250 volt sockets used widely throughout the traffic industry inside of metal cabinets. Six, 8 and 12 pin products are available with flanges for mounting flush through cut-outs in metal. The 8 pin version accepts the 21 series relay.
The 8 & 11 pin screw terminal sockets provide DIN rail or panel mounting options The pressure clamp screw terminals holds wires mechanically secure and provide excellent electrical connections. Terminals accept up to two # 12 AWG wires. One piece stamped metal interconnections. No welded or soldered connections.
The widespread popularity of the industrial plug-in type of mounting used the 219 frame relays results in many requests for the plug-in enclosure only. Some requests originate from a desire to match relays on the same panel, but many stem from applications requiring no relays.
