OMRON announces the release of the new XD2B Miniature Battery Connector. Using its expertise in
electroforming, microfabrication and materials technologies, Omron was able to achieve a 2mm pitch and
2.6 mm depth.
- Pitch of 2mm, Depth of 2.6 mm and PCB edge mounting greatly reduces PCB real estate.
- Electroforming technology allows for a contact that is substantially stronger than contacts
produced by conventional pressed materials.
- Improved spring‐contact configuration provides for improved contact forces, providing
greater resistance against impacts and shock.
- Contacts and hold‐down terminals are gold plated, ensuring reliability.
- 2 or 3 contact groups are provided for the power supply contacts, allowing for greater dispersion of current
over multiple points of contact.
- Available in 3 different versions, mating with 4 or 5 battery connection pads and 6, 7 or 8 PCB connection terminals.
