RJ45 Jacks
RJ45 Jacks are ideal for Ethernet connections
Short for Registered Jack-45, RJ 45 jacks are eight-wire connectors that are used with Category 5 cable, commonly to connect computers onto a local-area network (LAN), especially Ethernets. RJ 45 connectors look similar to the ubiquitous RJ-11 connectors used for connecting telephone equipment, but they are wider and support up to eight conductors.
RJ is an acronym for Registered Jack, because this interface is registered with the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC). The RJ series of jacks and connectors (which ranges from RJ-10 through RJ-61) is primarily for use with telephone equipment, and the various models have a similar appearance but differ mainly with regard to the number of conductors and width.
RIA has a wide array of high-quality RJ45 jacks for all your connectivity needs.
