At less than one-third the size of similarly performing Class R fuses, current-limiting POWR-GARD® Class T fuses offer space-saving overcurrent and short-circuit protection solutions in applications requiring fuses with current ratings higher than 30 A. Be aware, however, that Class T fuses may provide protection only against short circuits when used with circuits carrying inductive loads. For applications where fuse size is not a principal concern, Littelfuse recommends JTD_ID series Class J fuses, LLRNK or LLSRK Class RK1 series fuses, or FLSR_ID series Class RK5 fuses.
