Kycon Expands by Shrinking with New Micro USB Connectors
San Jose, CA – Because mobile phones, PDAs and digital cameras continue to reduce in size, Kycon has responded to the growing need for reliable connectors by going small. Kycon now offers the innovative micro USB Series—KMMX Series. Compared to the MiniUSB receptacle, the KMMX series offers a more compact footprint that allows for greater spacesaving solutions in portable devices.
The KMMX Series meets the USB Implementers Forum Specification, which supports the USB OnTheGo (OTG) supplement, allowing users ease of portable pointtopoint connectivity. The series offers a MicroB receptacle, for standard devices, and a MicroAB receptacle for OTG devices. Both surface mount shield receptacles feature a stainless steel shell, which yields more than 10,000 insertion cycles for longer life and higher durability. The result is a more reliable enduser product, earning customer satisfaction.
Kycon understands the value of satisfied customers. While continually broadening their product line, including customized solutions, Kycon maintains clear focus on quality, while upholding worldclass service and support that has consistently earned them Bishop’s toprankings for customer satisfaction.
