San Jose, CA – To meet voracious consumer demand for small, reliable electronic devices, Kycon has expanded their micro board-to-board product series to include an additional 0.50mm (0.020”) pitch version – the K050D Series. The K050D Series features a low profile board stacking height – as low as 1.5mm to 6.5mm – that allows cost-efficient and space-saving solutions for applications in portable electronics such as digital cameras, mobile phones and MP3 players.

The K050D Series is part of Kycon’s extensive line of board-to-board connectors that includes pitch versions of 0.50mm (0.020”), 0.80mm (0.031”), and 1.0mm (0.039”). The K050D Series incorporates many of the same key features as Kycon’s other micro board-to-board connectors, such as a surface mount plug and socket and circuit sizes from 10-120.
