San Jose, CA - Kycon Inc. announces the release of integrated modular jacks designed for high-speed data applications: the GIS series. These RJ45 style jacks are available with different filtering packages to accommodate the various chipsets commonly found in 10/100 Base T applications. With the required transformers, chokes, capacitors, and termination resistors installed within the connector, the GIS series offers improved reliability and electrical performance over traditional design options using separate components. These connectors are currently available in single port designs. Several new designs including enhanced shielding, multiple ports, and alternate PCB layouts are under development to address more specific design needs.
