TIPPMATIC: Rocker Switch with Integral Timing Device
VERNON HILLS, IL – Saia-Burgess USA Inc. introduces TIPPMATIC – a range of illuminated rocker switches that feature integral, time dependent, auto switch-off electronics. These compact switches have the shape of a conventional rocker switch, but house internal electronics for increased functionality and safety at a very economical price. The switch is also available with and without illumination.
The TIPPMATIC contains electronic circuitry that reliably switches the device off once a pre-set time has elapsed. The switch has an auto-off time range from 15-120 minutes, depending on application requirements. They are ideal for coffee makers and other equipment such as water boilers, deep freezers, ventilating fans, clothing presses, heating appliances and supplementary functions on cooking equipment.
The TIPPMATIC features a clever “frameless” design that facilitates easy mounting with a mating rocker cover. Two pegs on the switch housing mate into corresponding indentations that the customer provides in the product housing. The switch can then be simply clipped into position without the aid of special tools.
