Effective immediately IDEC would like to announce a cosmetic change to the RR series of relays.

The color of the plastic base has been changed from white to black. This change does not alter any of the electrical or mechanical specifications. In addition, the color of the dust cover will still remain yellow which has always been identified with IDEC relays.

Presently, the RU series is supplied with a black plastic base so we have decided to use the same material in our RR production. In the future, we will also change the base colors of the RH and RY relays so that all IDEC relays will be furnished with black plastic bases.

We will make every attempt not to mix shipments of the white and black base models, but be advised that production of the white base has stopped and shipments received from the factory will be black base models only.

This change was done to improve and increase efficiencies in our manufacturing processes. You will notice no difference in the performance, quality and reliability of the relays.
