IDEC Corporation announces a part number unification and consolidation for the TWTD Series of switches, affecting illuminated pushbuttons and illuminated selector switches.

The lenses for the illuminated models are being consolidated. Previously, there were separate lenses for incandescent and LED models, but the introduction of the new superbright LED lamps has made this unnecessary. As of March 2004 we are offering only one shade of each color lens for all illuminated TWTD switches. All new lenses are distinguished by an additional "U" in the part number.

A full range of colors will still be available including amber, green, red, blue, white and yellow, but the shades may differ slightly from previous models. See the back of this flyer for a complete list of old lenses and thier suggested replacements. Where the unified lens model will be a different shade/hue are indicated.

The new part numbers affect ONLY sub-assembled orders; there is no change to assembled TWTD switches. Please be aware that some items previously ordered will be supplied with a different shade/hue of the lens as a result of this consolidation (see list on back for details).
