Already leader in the European timers market, Crouzet has now added two new quick connection units to its Chronos 2 range: 22.5 mm and 17.5 mm. With the 17.5 mm unit, Crouzet has now become the first company to adapt this type of connection method to a standard size product. Based on the use of spring terminals, the quick connection method provides quick, reliable connections and significantly reduces maintenance costs.
A reliable, no-maintenance installation
Quick connection technology offers an easy way of connecting a conductor to a spring terminal, instead of the traditional screw terminal, thus reducing wiring time by 75%. This type of connection is bump and vibration resistant, and so provides optimum contact safety. All this without the need for any maintenance: the design of the spring terminals means that regular checks of screw connections are no longer necessary.
The new quick connection units are available as multifunction versions (10 functions). As for all Chronos 2 timers, these products cover a timing range of 0.1 seconds to 100 hours for supply voltages of 12 to 240 volts. They are suitable for all types of conductor with a maximum cross section of 1.5 mm2 and have two terminals per connection point to allow for bridging.
