Crouzet's Millenium automation control modules communicating on AS-i
The Millenium automation control module has now been enhanced with an AS-i interface offering new possibilities for distributed intelligence, particularly in industrial machines and Building Management Systems.
This communication interface ("MASI") is integrated in the Millenium MAS 20 in its standard housing. It provides an AS-i slave with 4 input & 4 output points for network communication. Thirty one units can be connected to a single network up to 100 metres long.
Reduced operating costs The combination of MAS 20 and MASI represents a definite turning point in distributed intelligence. This configuration permits local technical intervention without disturbing general system operation.
In the event of network interference, the Millenium can automatically trigger a downgraded operation mode.
