"Spartan" Reed Relay Adds New Footprint
Coto Technology of Providence, Rhode Island, has introduced the 9081 Spartan SIP reed relay - a new version of the popular 9007 Spartan SIP series. The new offering has the same high performance as other Spartan SIP relays, but with an alternate industry standard .2"x .4"x.2" footprint which provides additional spacing between the coil pins. This alternate footprint allows PC board designers more flexibility in creating circuit paths.
The 9081 Series is a 1 form "A" configuration with 5V, 12V, or 24V coils. Diode and magnetic shielding options are also available. Like Coto's 9007 Spartan series, the 9081 is designed for economy and is well suited for Security, Instrumentation and Modem applications. The 9081 series has hermetically sealed contacts and provides higher speed switching when compared to Electromechanical Relays.
