Minneapolis, Minnesota – CIT Relay & Switch announces the availability of the BSP Series subminiature
momentary pushbutton switch. Offering numerous terminals including snap-in mounting
options, the BSP provides design engineers a versatile, momentary switch for use in wide variety of
applications. Available in both Single Pole and Double Pole, the BSP offers a choice in of silver-plated,
gold-plated or gold over silver-plated contacts.
Specifications: Electrical rating is 3A @ 120VAC and 28VDC, 1A @ 250VAC. Typical electrical life is
30,000 cycles. Contact Resistance is <20mΩ maximum initially at 2~4VDC, 100mA. Dielectric Strength is
1000Vrms minimum with Insulation Resistance of >1000MΩ minimum. Operating and Storage
Temperature is -40°C to 85°C, sealed to IP67 standards. SPDT or DPST configuration.
Materials: RoHS Compliant. Actuator is Thermoplastic Polyester with housing of 6/6 Nylon, glass filled,
flame retardant, heat stabilized (UL94V-0). The bracket is tin plated brass. Contacts and terminal options:
silver-plated copper alloy, gold for dry circuit less than .4 volt amps, or gold over silver. Round or square
caps in standard colors of red, black or white are available as standard
Typical applications of the BSP Series switch include consumer electronics, instrumentation
telecommunications, test equipment, computer and computer peripheral, security, audio, medical and
