Minneapolis, Minnesota – The JC Series switch product offered by CIT Relay & Switch is available with Bi-colored LED combination options in blue, green, red, yellow and the newest color choice of white. Single color LEDs are three segment and bi-colored include six segments which offer uniform lighting. This 24VDC rated switch offers both SPDT and DPDT. The internal snap-action mechanism provides long lasting, quick make and break momentary or latching contacts, tactile detent and audible feedback features. When design engineers require compact distance between the PC board and panel the JC series is ideal – it extents less than ½ inch behind the panel! The JC Series offers six cap options including square, concave, convex and sculptured with standard or custom laser etched legends.
Specifications: Electrical rating is 500mA @24VDC with electrical life of 10,000 cycles. Contact resistance is < 50mW initially. Actuation force is 200 ± 50gF with actuator travel 2.2 ± 0.1mm. Dielectric strength is 1000Vrms minimum. Insulation resistance is > 1000MW minimum. Operating and storage temperature is -40°C to 85°C. Epoxy sealed terminals block out flux and other contaminates.
Materials: Actuator cap and body are Poly Carbonate. Housing and terminal base are UL94V-O Polyamide. Contacts and terminal options include gold or silver plating.
