Minneapolis, Minnesota – CIT RELAY & SWITCH announces the newest addition to the CL1200 Series of momentary lighted SPST pushbutton switches. This right angle version provides design engineers a very versatile LED illuminated switch for use in a variety of applications. Offering three frame options – no frame and cap, square frame or round frame and cap, the CL1200 lighted pushbutton switch is available with numerous combinations of frame colors and cop colors in lighted or non-lighted configurations. Optional LED colors include standard or super bright red, green, yellow and blue as well as bi-colored LED versions.

On the cutting edge of technology, this switch is great for use in consumer, instrumentation, computer and computer peripheral, telecommunications, test equipment, security, audio, medical and wherever applications require miniature switching combined with illumination.

The CL1200 Series offers an electrical rating of 50mA at 48VDC and an electrical life of 100,000 cycles typically. With a 160 gram force tactile feedback, the CL1200 Series comes standard with actuator travel of 0.25 +/- .1mm. Contact resistance is less than 50mΩ initially and insulation resistance is greater than 100MΩ initially. Dielectric strength is 1000V rms minimum.

All materials in the CL1200 Series are RoHS compliant. Both the actuator and the housing are composed of 6/6 Nylon, the cover is Poly Carbonate, and contacts are silver-plated stainless steel with terminals of silver-plated brass
