Maple Grove, Minnesota - CIT RELAY & SWITCH introduces the KT Series, our newest addition to the DIP switch line. The KT Series offers from 2 to 12 positions with a choice of straight or splayed termination extended or recessed actuators. The KT series offers an optional top tape seal. Taped models with flush actuators are machine insertable and withstand soldering and cleaning processes. The electrical rating is 25mA @ 24VDC switching and 100mA @ 24VDC continuous current with the electrical life of 2,000 cycles. Contact resistance is <25mO initially with dielectric strength at 500V rms minimum. Bifurcated gold plated contacts offer long-term reliability. The KT Series offers actuation force of 600gf maximum and actuator travel of 0.90mm. With contacts of gold over nickel plated beryllium copper and terminals of gold over nickel plated brass, the KT Series is ideal for use in computer and computer peripherals, telecommunications, security, test equipment, instrumentation, audio and medical applications.
