The product allows the installer to merely lift the attached hinged cover, make his field connections and snap the cover closed to complete the job. Lost covers become a thing of the past, while the design insures compliance with safety concerns. These new terminal blocks from BlockMaster are particularly suitable where finger safety is a consideration, especially in applications requiring that the blocks must have non-removable covers, such as hi-power and other similar environments.
The product is available in two series, C31M and C34M, both of which are of a modular construction and are offered in 2 - 24 pole configurations. The C31M Series comes with a current rating of 10Amps at 300VAC with a pitch of 7.62mm while the C34M Series is rated at 15 Amps at 300VAC with a pitch of 9.5mm. Operating temperature range is from -40° to +105°C. Construction is of Polyamide 66 (94V-O) with tin plated brass terminals supplied with screws of nickel plated M3.5 steel for the C-34 series, with the C-31 Series supplied in 3.0 steel. Standard Color furnished is black. Both the C13M and the C34M Series are available with six pin-out configurations, including PCB, solder tail and right angle versions.
