Traditionally wire-to-board layouts have male headers soldered onto the printed circuit board with the metal pins exposed. The potential for electrical shock exists if someone accidently touches the live metal pins on the male header. By switching it up with ASI's MRT46 PCB mountable female connector and the MRT40 pluggable terminal block for the wire connection, a touch-proof solution is created.

SCENARIO #2: Make the Right Connection		Interlocked MRT46 2 and 3 pole
Sometimes an application requires two of the same wiring configuration on a printed circuit board making it difficult to identify which wires connect to which header. Eliminate this wiring connection dilemma with this 100% fail-safe tip of using a male header for one connection and the MRT46 inverted female PCB mount connector for the other. The MRT46 with its modular design offers multiple pole positions to meet most wiring configurations. It is UL approved and has both horizontal and vertical wire mounts.

SCENARIO #3: Wire-to-Wire Freedom		Connected MRT30 and MRT40
Eliminate the need to have extra connectors, the MRT40 also connects to the MRT30 female wire-to-wire connector. The MRT40 is a versatile male connector that is compatible with the CPF, MRT3 and MRT30 series for secure wire-to-wire connections. All are UL approved.
