New Providence, NJ (February 14, 2003) - Aromat Corporation announces new metal package for the ARD Coaxial Switch. The cost competitive ARD Coaxial Switch (SPDT) provides stable RF performance with long life. It has a range up to 26.5GHz, with power consumption of only 700mW. Insertion loss is at 0.5dB at 18GHz and high isolation of 60dB at 18 GHz. V.S.W.R. is 1.5 max. The 1 Form C ARD relay is available in latching, fail safe and TTL drive latching type with self cut-off circuit, in 12 and 24VDC. Typical applications are satellite communications up/down converters, test equipment, PCS equipment, VXI bus test equipment, Antenna top amplifiers / redundancy, and LMDS.
