New Relay Offers High Contact Reliability For Low Level Switching
New Providence, New Jersey (10/99): Aromat introduces it's new NAIS brand SX high sensitivity relay with guaranteed low level switching capacity, ideal for measuring instruments or other devices where a stable contact resistance is required. Static contact resistance during initial and electric life tests is max. 100 m ohms (voltage drop of 20 mV, 1 mA, 1 kHz). Dynamic contact resistance is max. 1 ohms (measurement delay 10 ms, voltage drop of 20 mV, 1 mA, 1 kHz).
With a 2 Form C contact arrangement, the SX relay features high sensitivity of 50 mW for the single side stable type. It also comes in 1 and 2 coil latching types and is available in through hole and surface mount types. Reducing the heat from the coil enables a low thermal electromotive force of 3µV or less.
Nominal switching capacity is 10mA at 10 VDC and initial breakdown voltage between contact and coil is 1,000 Vrms for 1 min.
