New Direct Type Narrow Pitch Connector from Aromat
New Providence, NJ, 10/99: Aromat introduces a new addition to its growing line of narrow pitch connectors, the AXK1 Direct Type Connector. This new NAIS Brand connector features stacking heights of 0.8mm to 3.4mm and terminal pitch of 1.0mm. The AXK1 connector is available in both a 14 pin SIL terminal type and a 20 pin DIL type. Additional direct types will be added in the future.
The AXK1 is designed for use in pagers, cell phones, PCS, HDD, anywhere an LED display is used.
Specifications of the AXK1 direct connector include: 0.5A current rating; 60V AC/DC operation; breakdown voltage of 250VAC after one minute; 1,000 m ohm insulation resistance; 50m ohm contact resistance; and -55C to +85C ambient temperature. The manufacturing process for the AXK1 has been certified to meet ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards.
