New Providence, NJ (9/99) - Aromat Corporation announces it's new NAIS brand CT ultra-small automotive relay in twin type and slim 1c type. The twin type (1 Form C x 2) makes forward/reverse motor control possible with a single relay.
Dimensions of the twin type are 17.4 (L) x 14.0 (W) x 13.5mm H (Approximately 1/2 the volume of a conventional twin relay, 7/10 the footprint). The slim type has dimensions of 17.4 (L) x 7.2 (W) x 13.5mm H (approximately 3/5 the volume of a conventional slim type relay, 7/10 the footprint). The simple footprint enables ease of PC board layout.
The CT comes in three contact arrangements: 1 Form C, 1 Form C x 2 (8 terminals type) and 1 Form C x 2 (10 terminals type). Nominal switching capacity is 20A @ 14VDC (N.O.) and 10A @ 14VDC (N.C.), max. operating speed of 6 cpm. Maximum switching current is 35A for 2 minutes, 25A for 1 hour (14V, at 20 degrees C).
l applications for the CT ultra-small automotive relay are sunroofs, power windows, power seats, automatic door locks & power mirrors.
