APEM OFFERS NEW LINE OF JD SERIES KEYLOCK SWITCHES
Haverhill, MA - APEM Components, Inc., a leading manufacturer of high quality miniature and industrial switches, announces its new line of JD Series Keylock switches. These switches are specifically designed for point-of-sale terminals, cash registers, computers, control panels, appliances, medical equipment and security applications.
APEM’s JD Series of Keylock Switches has a maximum current rating with resistive load of 4 amps at 125 VAC or 2 AMPS at 250 VAC. Expected life is 6,000 cycles at full load. Other electrical specifications include an initial contact resistance of 20 milliohms and maximum and dielectric strength of 1,000 V rms minimum at sea level.
APEM’s JD Series keylocks are available in single pole and double pole, solder lug terminals, maintained and momentary, panel mounting, with indexing of 45°and 90°. Material specifications include a nickel plated zinc alloy lock, two standard single-bitted brass keys with code number stamped on the key face, and glass-filled polyester housing. Contacts and terminals are silver plated.
