Each time you visit Relay Specialties website, our server automatically recognizes and logs your IP address. An IP address is basically the address of the computer making a request to our web server. No personal information or detail is obtained in this data interchange—a visitor's browser is not designed to provide this information.

At Relay Specialties, logged IP addresses are periodically reviewed and analyzed in an effort to monitor, maintain, and effectively improve our website. This information is retained for no other purpose and is not shared outside of Relay Specialties.

The Relay Specialties website contains links to other websites, specifically franchised suppliers and business partners. Relay Specialties does not control or take responsibility for personal information collected on these sites nor is Relay Specialties responsible for the accuracy or the content, security or privacy practices of these sites.

During a website visit, Relay Specialties may ask a potential customer for contact information (email address, telephone number, fax number and/or addresses for shipping/billing). This information is submitted on a voluntary basis—and only with your approval.

Relay Specialties will ask you when we need information that personally identifies you or allows us to contact you. Usually this information is required when you request email newsletters, catalogs or when you purchase our products. We continually monitor our website for errors and if one occurs, information about your web browser may be collected to assist us in the correction process.

Generally, your name, shipping/mailing address, telephone number, email address and fax number are included in our customer file. This information is used to ensure and provide a quick, efficient flow of products and services to you. This shall also make our website easier for use by not requiring you to enter your information more than once.

We may also use this information to contact you when you have received an error message while using our website so that we may help you resolve the problem.

This information may also be used for other purposes as outlined below.

Postal Addresses

Relay Specialties may use your mailing address to send the Relay Specialties catalog, or other printed matter to keep you updated on our most current products and services. Other periodicals, newsletters, or product roll outs may also be handled from time to time by direct mail activity.

You may opt out of these mailings at any time by emailing sales@relayspec.com with the subject "Postal Opt-Out" and including the name and mailing address you wish to remove. Newsletter and promotional emails are sent through Beehiiv and include an unsubscribe link in every message; clicking that link immediately removes you from those emails.

Email Addresses

Email addresses may be used to communicate information of interest to you about Relay Specialties. This includes Order Shipment/Tracking Information, Obsolete Part(s) Bulletins, Service Change Information and/or other Relay Specialties promotional emails.

Email addresses are never rented, sold or traded to third parties.

Other Uses of Customer Information

Relay Specialties is under contract to provide point of sale information to many of its product suppliers for market research and payment of commission to the supplier's agents. Point of sale information is important for the enforcement of all expressed product warranties.

If you have an open account with Relay Specialties, credit and payment history may periodically be shared with inquiring credit reporting agencies.

Customer information is also used for marketing and market research for Relay Specialties Inc. Relay Specialties or an authorized agent working for Relay Specialties may complete these activities. All customer information is kept confidential.

Relay Specialties will share customer information with government agencies if requested and required by law.

In keeping your personal information, we strictly protect the security of your personal information and carefully protect your data from loss, misuse, disclosure, alteration, destruction or unauthorized access.

Relay Specialties uses cookies and similar technologies on its websites to remember your session, keep your shopping cart intact, understand how visitors use the Site, and improve our services. From time to time, we may also use analytics, advertising, conversion-measurement, session-replay, and remarketing technologies to understand website usage, improve our services, measure advertising performance, and present relevant content. These technologies may be provided by companies such as Google and Microsoft.

Confirmed third-party services currently in use include:

• Google Analytics — anonymized traffic and usage statistics. You may opt out via the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-On.

• Tawk.to — live chat widget. Cookies are used to remember your chat session.

You may opt out of interest-based advertising through industry programs such as the Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA) or the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI). Most browsers also accept cookies automatically but allow you to refuse them or delete them at any time through your browser settings. Refusing cookies may limit the functionality of some parts of the Site.

Relay Specialties may use third-party communications platforms to send marketing, transactional, account, and customer-service messages. Marketing newsletters and promotional communications are currently distributed through Beehiiv. Transactional and business communications — such as order confirmations, quote responses, and sales correspondence — may be delivered through Microsoft 365, our internal ERP systems, or through the messaging features of our ecommerce platform (BigCommerce).

Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link in every message; clicking that link immediately removes you from those emails. Transactional and account-related messages (such as order confirmations, shipping notifications, and RMA correspondence) are necessary to operate your account and are not subject to unsubscribe.

Payments are processed securely by PCI-compliant third-party payment processors. Relay Specialties does not directly store complete payment-card information. Certain limited payment details (such as the last four digits of a card and its expiration month/year) may be retained by Relay Specialties or its ecommerce platform for account, order-history, and fraud-prevention purposes.

Relay Specialties does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes. As described above under "Other Uses of Customer Information," we may share point-of-sale information with our product suppliers under contract for purposes such as warranty enforcement and commission payment, but this sharing is not a sale of personal information.

If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or another U.S. state that grants consumer privacy rights, you may have the right to:

• Know what personal information we have collected about you and how it is used and shared.

• Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you.

• Correct inaccurate personal information.

• Delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions (for example, records we must retain for tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes).

• Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — note that Relay Specialties does not sell personal information.

• Non-discrimination — you will not receive different pricing or service quality for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email sales@relayspec.com with the subject "Privacy Rights Request" and describe which right you wish to exercise. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (generally 45 days). We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling the request.

The Relay Specialties websites are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact sales@relayspec.com and we will delete it promptly.

Relay Specialties retains personal information for as long as your account is active, as needed to provide products and services, and as required to comply with our legal obligations (including tax, accounting, and warranty records). When personal information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it.

If we ever experience a security incident that compromises your personal information, we will notify affected users and applicable regulators in accordance with the notification requirements of applicable federal and state law.
