Relay Specialties Inc. is aware of the Conflict Minerals legislation and Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Act. Conflict minerals include tantalum, tin, tungsten, and gold.

 

As an authorized distributor, Relay Specialties Inc. is unable to accurately provide information and certification related to the use of conflict minerals in the products we distribute. This information must be made available directly from the manufacturer. Manufacturers concur that their authorized distributors are not equipped or authorized to provide this information to the end user. Consequently, distribution is not included within the scope of SEC reporting requirements. Relay Specialties Inc. is committed to not knowingly purchase products that contain conflict minerals resulting in financial benefit to the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) or adjoining countries.

 

Relay Specialties Inc. is fully cognizant as to the critical nature of this issue on the part of its customers. Relay Specialties Inc. furthermore assumes responsibility to make efforts supporting a conflict free supply chain. We are encouraging our suppliers to make product origin of processed minerals accessible on their website as well as report information to the Electronics Components Industry Association (www.eciaonline.org).
